Our self catering Kinlochewe holiday cottage is an ideal base to tour Gairloch and the Western Islands and is within easy reach of the famous tropical Inverewe Gardens and the spectacular Torridon Mountains, with a hill walk / trail just across the road from the self catering cottage.

Larger shops, beautiful beaches, eating places, a small museum and a 9 hole golf course can all be found in Gairloch, 20 miles up the road from the self catering holiday cottage. The area is famous for its superb hill walking and mountain climbing with well signposted trails and all categories of walks and climbs from easy to very challenging are to be found!

Try the excellent seafood restaurants in and around Kinlochewe, Gairloch or in Applecross – a very challenging and interesting drive and a ‘must see’ area. The Applecross Inn is famed for its marvellous seafood. In Kinlochewe itself there is a Shop/garage and a local cafe with excellent food.
